S. Ross Cooper, President and CEO
Mr. Cooper founded Quality Health Care in 1995 and serves as its President and CEO. He has over 30 years of experience in various aspects of the healthcare industry. Prior to founding Quality Health Care, he served as CEO of Quality Psychiatric Services, a behavioral health managed care company in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
He has managed adult psychiatric units for Psychiatric Institutes of America and served as Administrator of a 100-bed Charter Medical Corporation psychiatric hospital in North Carolina. He has also held positions in public relations, marketing and sales for other firms in the healthcare industry. Mr. Cooper holds a Master’s degree in Psychology and has completed the American Association of Health Plans Executive Leadership Program.
Alan Chapman, Chief Operating Officer
Alan Chapman has more than 30 years of experience in the behavioral healthcare field and more than 20 years of senior management experience. His past experience includes both non-profit and for-profit healthcare organizations.
One of Alan’s priorities is that Quality Health Care, Inc. provides a safe and secure environment where the patient and family members receive the highest level of quality service in a respectful and caring manner. “We do this by embracing the values of respect, integrity, quality, internal and external customer service, responsibility and teamwork. My leadership style is to form a cohesive staff, motivating them to express individuality while working together to form a vibrant, growing, high-functioning team. As COO, Alan has oversight over every area of operation and all patient services for all Quality Health Care’s locations. He leads and mentors a high-performance management team, fostering an environment of success and accountability. Promoting effective leadership and management at every level ensures that the Mission, Vision, and Values of Quality Health Care are demonstrated on a daily basis.
